The full form of MC is Menstrual Cycle. MC is equivalent to the typical, naturally occurring alterations in the female reproductive system. The first female cycle typically starts between twelve and fifteen and lasts until 45. It lasts an average of 28 days.
To maintain people’s health, MC provides necessary chemical molecules in the body known as hormones. Duration is measured from the first day of one period to the first day of the following. The typical MC lasts for 28 days. Menstrual cycles can range from 21 to 35 days for adults and from 21 to 45 days for teenagers.

Phases of a menstrual cycle
There are four phases to the menstrual cycle, which include
- Perimenopausal stage
On day 1, the uterine lining begins to shed in preparation for implantation. This process lasts for 3 to 5 days.
- Fibular stage
One of the ovaries releases an egg from a mature egg follicle. The uterus also begins preparing for a subsequent pregnancy.
- Ovulation stage
Ovulation occurs in this phase, which lasts from days 13 to 17, and is known as the mid-cycle phase. The fertilisation period is determined by the end of the follicular phase and the ovulation period.
- Luton stage
The post-ovulation stage is when the corpus luteum’s future is decided. If fertilisation takes place, pregnancy begins. The beginning of another cycle is signalled by the absence of fertilisation.
