The full form of IFFCO is Indian Farmers Fertilizer Cooperative Limited. One of the world’s most well-known cooperative multi-state societies, it is totally run by Indian cooperatives. It started in 1967 with just 57 cooperatives and has grown to include about 35,000 Indian cooperatives that serve more than 50 million Indian farmers and have a variety of business interests, including insurance products, rural telecommunications, and its primary sector of fertiliser production and sales.
