What is the full form of the CIA?

The full form of CIA is Central Intelligence Agency. It is the civilian branch of the American foreign intelligence service. President Harry S. Truman’s signing of the National Security Act in 1947 resulted in its creation. Its main office is at the George Bush Center for Intelligence in Virginia, United States.

The national intelligence director commands the CIA director, who serves as the agency’s chief. He is chosen by the President and given senate approval.
