What is the full form of BHMS?

The full form of BHMS is Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery. An academic undergraduate degree programme called BHMS covers knowledge of the homoeopathic medical system. The programme lasts for five and a half years, during which time there are four and a half years of research and one year of internship. The undergraduate curriculum in the homoeopathic system is also available via distance learning. After earning a BHMS degree, a graduate can practise homoeopathic medicine as a doctor.

Eligibility criteria

Applicants must meet the minimum qualifying criteria below to be admitted to this course.

• 12th level or any equivalent grade from a recognized university.
• An aggregate score of 50 per cent in the 12th class.
• Physics, biology, chemistry, and English are mandatory subjects.
• The minimum age is seventeen.

Admission process

Many prestigious institutions for BHMS studies need applicants to pass entrance exams to gain admission. Candidates must pass a variety of state and federal entrance exams.

Candidates are chosen based on their performance on the relevant entry test, followed by a round of group discussion and an individual interview.
