The full form of ABS is Anti-lock Braking System. The ABS is a braking system used on both aviation and terrestrial vehicles, including bicycles, trucks, buses, and cars. It prevents tyre locking and sliding when brakes are applied during an emergency shutdown. ABS makes it possible for the tyres to maintain their traction with the ground. The vehicle moves in the direction of the wheels when the rider rotates the wheels in response to applying the brakes when a rider comes across an unanticipated barrier because the vehicle’s tyres do not lock up.
