The full form of SCB is Standard Chartered Bank. The corporate headquarters of the British multinational investment bank and financial institution Standard Chartered PLC are in London, England. It has a network of more than 1,200 subsidiaries, branches, and joint ventures spread across over 70 countries and employs about 87,000 people. It is a universal bank with treasury services and individual, business, and institutional financing activity.
Despite having a UK basis, it does not conduct retail banking there, and 90% of its profits come from Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. Standard Chartered has its primary listing on the LSE and is a component of the FTSE 100 Index (London Stock Exchange).
