What is the full form of KRA?

The full form of KRA is Key Result Area or Key Responsibility Area. KRA is a management concept that describes the role and responsibilities of an employee as well as the various work areas for which he may assume responsibility. Due to the unique KRAs assigned to each person, KRA primarily focuses on their JD (Job Description).

The firm or organisation designs KRAs to evaluate the performance of the employees in an organised manner. Since these metrics are concentrated on their overall performance, they may also be used as an evaluation tool.

KRA Writing Process

  • Check the employee’s job descriptions in-depth because these are centred on them. If necessary, speak to both the employee and the manager.
  • Determine the specific actions the person would take and how they would help the business.
  • Remember to complete all observable, necessary activities at work, which include things that are expressed as numbers, percentages, etc.
  • Create objectives focused on these demands, and describe each task in self-explanatory terms.
  • When describing such goals, ensure that visible and acceptable targets and timeframes are stated.
