Manufacturing Businesses Criteria:

  • Micro Enterprises are manufacturing companies whose investment in plant and equipment does not exceed Rs. 25 lakh.
  • Small Enterprises are manufacturing companies with an investment in machinery and plant of more than Rs. 25 lakhs but less than Rs. 5 crores.
  • Medium Enterprises are defined as manufacturing businesses with plant and equipment expenditures between Rs. 5 and Rs. 10 crores.

Requirements for Service Enterprises

  • If a service enterprise’s infrastructure investment is less than Rs. 10 lakh, the business is considered a microenterprise.
  • If the company’s expenditures are between Rs. 10 lakh and Rs. 2 crores, it is considered a small enterprise.
  • If the company spends between Rs 2 and Rs 5 crores, it is considered a medium enterprise.
