What is the full form of NCW?

The full form of the NCW is National Commission for Women. t is a legal entity under the control of the Indian government. In January 1992, it was established under the National Commission for Women Act of 1990. It looks at how well-protected women are under the law and the constitution, suggests remedies, encourages swift resolution of complaints, and advises the government on women’s policies.

The current NCW has a chairperson, three members, and a member secretary as of around July 2017. The chairman and representatives are chosen by the national government. Its main headquarters is in New Delhi, India.
