What is the full form of JAIIB?

The full form of JAIIB is the Junior Associate of the Indian Institute of the Bankers. It is a subsidiary examination administered by the IIBF (Indian Institute of Banking and Finance). Its examination is conducted to evaluate a person’s essential expertise in carrying out the duties of a banking professional. A person needs to be knowledgeable in accounting, client relations, financial technology, banking, and many other facets of the industry.

Only IIBF members are authorised to take the exam. According to a notification posted on its website, it is conducted in Hindi or English in most centres, and in some centres, it is also done offline.

Various subjects of the JAIIB exam

  • One paper per Sunday is set aside for the exam on three Sundays.
  • 120 objective questions are included in each paper.
  • The paper is two hours long and worth 100 points.
  • Each topic or paper must receive at least 50 out of 100 to be considered passing.
