No, your husband will not get a visa automatically when you receive your New Zealand student visa. He must apply separately for a dependent visa, such as the Partner of a Student Work Visa or Partner of a Student Visitor Visa, based on your course.
His application will require proof of your relationship, financial documents, health and character checks, and other supporting materials. The partner visa is considered only after your student visa is approved and after his application is processed.
