My Advice

In my experience, ECE graduates who choose Product or Technology Management specifically because the title sounds like a natural fit sometimes overlook that the actual placement outcomes depend more on the school's recruiting ecosystem than the specialisation's name. Before committing, check which companies actually recruit for product roles from your shortlisted programme's placement report, not just the elective list. If your 24 months have been closer to software or telecom than pure hardware, weight your choice toward Product Management; if closer to manufacturing or infrastructure, weight it toward Operations.
