Which Master's specializations in the Netherlands would be suitable for me, given my Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with an 8.1 CGPA and no backlogs, starting in September 2027?

An 8.1 CGPA clears most Dutch thresholds, but Dutch universities look harder at your actual subjects than at that single number, so the more useful question is which specialisation your transcript already supports.

University of Twente: Software Technology or Data Science and Technology

Radboud and Groningen: Where to Look If AI or Systems Interests You More

• Radboud University: its Data Science and AI track asks for prior coursework in AI, data mining, and machine learning specifically, while Software Science is the easier entry if your bachelor's leaned programming over mathematics.

My Advice

In my experience, students with a high CGPA assume it guarantees admission and skip checking the subject level requirements, then get surprised by a conditional offer or rejection. Before September 2027, map your semester wise subjects against Twente's stated ECTS requirements yourself. If your maths coursework is thin, Software Technology or Software Science is a safer choice than a Data Science or AI track, since those lean harder on statistics and probability you may not have covered.
