Documents Usually Needed for Undergraduate Applications
- Attested copies of Class X and XII mark sheets. Universities usually ask for transcripts sealed in an envelope and attested by the registrar, repeated for each school you attended.
- Two academic reference letters from professors who taught you during school.
- Statement of Purpose and resume.
- IELTS or TOEFL score reports.
- A portfolio for art and design or architecture programs.
- Proof of funds.
Requirements vary between programs and levels. Degrees are generally harder to get into than diplomas, and foundation and diploma programs are available to students with below 60% in higher secondary education. You should also have completed 18 years of age before joining a degree program.
My Advice
Decide first whether you are aiming for a diploma or a degree, then collect documents early because attestation takes time. Check each university's page for exact requirements.
