Application Steps and Timing
- Shortlist programmes on fit, not just ranking.
- Check each school's work experience and GMAT expectations, since they vary.
- Prepare for GMAT or GRE if required; three to four months is a realistic runway from scratch.
- Gather your CV, transcripts, statement of purpose and usually two recommendation letters.
- Submit online; the application fee typically runs CHF 100 to 200 (approx INR 11,596 to 23,192).
- Attend the interview, which is usually online and sometimes includes a case component.
- Start your visa and residence permit process as soon as you are accepted, as it can take 8 to 12 weeks.
My Advice
Work backwards from the September start. Build in months for tests, documents and interviews, and begin the visa process the moment you have an offer. If September does not suit you, check the intake dates of each private school directly.
