My Advice

Intake is not the same as internship quality. Your university's employer relationships, your own technical projects, and how early you start networking often matter as much as the calendar. The one country I would treat as a hard exception is Australia, where February, not a Fall-equivalent month, is actually the primary intake, so do not assume the Fall rule applies there without checking your specific programme first.
