Where do I have to take the English proficiency test required for studying abroad?

You need to take the IELTS Academic test at an authorized test center. In India, IELTS is conducted by IDP Education, which has over 75 test centers in major cities like New Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, and Kolkata.
You can register for the test through the official IDP IELTS India website or at a local IDP branch.
