Quick Answer
verified
Rotary's published guidance indicates that Rotary Peace Fellowship applicants are informed of the selection results in November. Selection comes after screening, district review, committee assessment and trustee approval, and being chosen does not automatically mean admission to your designated university.
According to Rotary's published guidance, you should expect to hear about your selection in November. That notification comes after all the review stages are complete.
Where Notification Fits in the Process
| Step | Timing or detail |
|---|---|
| Application checked for eligibility | After you submit |
| District interview and endorsement | May happen during review |
| Committee assessment and finalist selection | By the Rotary Peace Centers Committee and university representatives |
| Trustee approval | Final step in selection |
| Results shared with applicants | November, per Rotary's published guidance |
After You Are Selected
- Selection does not automatically mean admission to the university.
- You must also apply to and meet the requirements of your designated university.
My Advice
Use the wait to prepare your university-side documents so you are not rushing later. Check Rotary's official page each cycle in case the notification timing is updated.
