Application process
- Register the study visa application through the Polish consular e-service and complete the additional form for study-visa applicants.
- Select a Visa Application Centre under the correct New Delhi or Mumbai consular jurisdiction and submit in person with documents, passport and fees.
- The consulate may request more documents or ask about the course, university and funding.
- The 2026 checklist advises allowing up to 30 calendar days for processing, and applications can be submitted up to six months before travel.
- Notarised parental consent and a birth certificate are needed if you are under 18.
My Advice
Prepare your financial documents carefully, since the proof of funds is a central part of the application. Check the current official checklist before you apply, as amounts and rules can change. If you need to stay beyond your visa validity, apply for a temporary residence permit before your legal stay ends, which since April 27, 2026 is done electronically.
