What is the IELTS score validity and are there plans for retaking or improving it for a Master's?
Your IELTS score is valid for two years from your test date. Since you took the test on August 5, 2025, your score will be valid until August 5, 2027.
For a January 2027 master's intake, your current IELTS score will still be valid for applications and enrollment. You do not need to retake the test unless you plan to apply for programs starting after August 2027.
If you want to improve your score, you can retake the full IELTS or, if eligible, use the IELTS One Skill Retake to improve a single section within 60 days of your original test. Availability of this option depends on your test center and is subject to change.
