What is the difference between an MBA and a BA degree for a Bachelor's/Postgraduate?
An MBA (Master of Business Administration) and a BA (Bachelor of Arts) are very different degrees.
- BA: An undergraduate degree (usually 3-4 years) focused on broad foundational knowledge in areas like humanities, social sciences, or business basics. Admission is after Class 12.
- MBA: A postgraduate degree (typically 1-2 years) focused on advanced business management, leadership, and practical skills. Requires a bachelor's degree and often work experience; admission may require exams like CAT, GMAT, or GRE.
A BA prepares you for entry-level roles and general knowledge, while an MBA is for advanced business leadership and management positions.
