The IELTS exam tests your English in four sections: Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking. Each section has specific question types:

- Listening: Multiple choice, matching, map/diagram labelling, form/table completion, and short answers. Practice by listening to English audio (podcasts, news), get used to different accents, and take timed practice tests.

- Reading: Multiple choice, true/false/not given, matching headings or information, sentence and summary completion, and short answers. Read newspapers and articles, practice skimming/scanning, and focus on understanding main ideas.

- Writing: Two tasks - describe a visual (Academic) or write a letter (General), and write an essay. Practice writing within time limits, focus on structure and clarity, and improve vocabulary and grammar.

- Speaking: Answer personal questions, speak on a topic for 1 - 2 minutes, and discuss abstract ideas. Practice speaking daily, record yourself, and simulate the test with a friend.

Regular practice with official materials and mock tests will help you improve.
