Till what amount can education loans sponsor us?
Education loans for studying abroad can cover up to ₹1.5 crore or more, depending on the lender and your profile. For example:
- SBI Global Ed-Vantage Scheme: up to ₹1.5 crore
- ICICI Bank: up to ₹3 crore
The actual amount you can get depends on your academic record, the course and institution, and your co-applicant’s financial profile. Loans up to ₹7.5 lakh usually don’t require collateral, but higher amounts typically do.
With your strong academic background, you are likely eligible for higher loan amounts, but approval is subject to each lender’s criteria and your co-applicant’s finances.
