Norway Student visa - Financial requirements

The student visa fee for an MBA in Norway is around NOK 5,400. You also need to show proof of funds for one academic year, typically around NOK 166,000 to 170,000 or more, along with an admission letter, health insurance, and a valid passport.

The official estimate for 2026 to 2027 is NOK 15,488 per month, or NOK 170,368 per year, and this is the minimum amount the immigration office asks you to prove before granting your student permit. Actual spending tends to run higher once rent, food and daily costs are included.
