Is there any scholarship available for the GMAT exam?

Yes, two kinds of GMAT help exist. GMAC's Talent and Opportunity Scholarship covers the exam voucher and prep, worth up to EUR 5,300, and schools offer fee waivers for hardship. Separately, a high GMAT score above the 95th percentile unlocks large MBA tuition scholarships, some covering full fees.

There are genuinely two paths to funding here, and it helps to know which you want. One covers the cost of taking the GMAT itself through vouchers and fee waivers. The other, and by far the larger prize, is the tuition scholarships that a strong GMAT score unlocks at top business schools once you apply.

My Advice

If your main goal is the big tuition money, aim for the 95th percentile or higher, roughly 705+ on the GMAT Focus Edition, since that score triggers automatic merit consideration at many schools with no extra essays. Apply in Round 1, when scholarship pools are still full, rather than gambling on later rounds. If the exam fee itself is the barrier, contact your target schools' admissions offices directly to ask about GMAC fee waiver codes before you register.
