Yes, the GMAT uses a specific scoring system. The total GMAT score ranges from 200 to 800, based on your performance in the Quantitative and Verbal sections (each scored 0-60).

There are also separate scores for:
- Analytical Writing Assessment: 0-6
- Integrated Reasoning: 1-8

Only the Quantitative and Verbal sections contribute to the 200-800 total score. The required score varies by university and program.
