Is there an age limit for student visa or PR in New Zealand?
There is no upper age limit for a student visa in New Zealand - applicants of any age can apply. However, if you are over 35, your study intentions and the relevance of your chosen course to your career may be reviewed more closely.
For Permanent Residency (PR) under the Skilled Migrant Category, you must be 55 years or younger at the time of application. Age points for PR decrease as your age increases, with the highest points awarded to those aged 20-39. Applicants over 55 are not eligible for this PR category.
