Is there a specific month or time when the IELTS exam is available?
The IELTS exam is available throughout the year in India. You can take it almost any month, with two formats:
- Computer-Delivered IELTS: Offered daily with multiple slots each day, providing great flexibility.
- Paper-Based IELTS: Held up to four times a month, usually on Thursdays and Saturdays, but this format is being phased out by mid-2026.
To secure your preferred date and test center, especially during peak months, it's best to book several weeks to months in advance.
