Is it possible to do a two-year course that provides exposure and allows me to prepare for my AMC exam while gaining an extra degree in New Zealand for a Master's?

It is possible to pursue a two-year master's program in New Zealand that offers valuable exposure and research opportunities, which can help you prepare for the Australian Medical Council (AMC) exam. However, completing a master's in New Zealand does not automatically make you eligible for the AMC exam, as eligibility is set by the AMC and is specific to medical graduates.

New Zealand universities generally do not offer joint or dual degrees at the master's level - these are more common at the undergraduate level. You can, however, choose a master's in a field closely related to medicine, such as medical science or public health, to strengthen your profile and experience.
