Is it advisable to retake the English test to improve my profile for visa processing in New Zealand for a Postgraduate?

It depends. Retaking the English test is advisable if your current score is below the minimum required by your chosen New Zealand institution or for the student visa.

For most postgraduate programs, a typical requirement is IELTS 6.5 overall, no band below 6.0. Some courses may require higher scores.

If you haven't taken an English test yet, you will need to do so. If your existing score meets or exceeds the required level, retaking the test is not necessary.
