If I get an education loan, how much should I show as funds for visa and university deposit payments?
For an Irish student visa, you must show that you have enough funds to cover both your tuition fees and living expenses, even if you are using an education loan. You are required to pay at least €6,000 of your tuition fees before applying for the visa. For living expenses, you must provide evidence of immediate access to at least €10,000 for your first academic year. If you rely on an education loan, submit a sanctioned loan letter, recent bank statements reflecting the loan, and a clear explanation of how the funds will be used. Make sure all documents are genuine and from recognized institutions, as unclear transactions or unexplained deposits can complicate your application.
