I applied for a scholarship but have not received any update; how can I follow up on it?
Wait at least 2-3 weeks after submitting your scholarship application before following up. This gives the committee enough time to review applications.
When you do follow up, send a short, polite email. Include your full name, the scholarship name, and your application date. Express your continued interest and ask about your application status.
Limit follow-ups to one or two emails - excessive messages may hurt your chances. If there’s an online portal, check your status there first.
Be patient and professional, as committees often review many applications. If you need further help, reach out to your LeapScholar counsellor.
