How much ITR should we show for New Zealand visa application?
There is no fixed minimum ITR (Income Tax Return) amount required for a New Zealand student visa. However, it is generally recommended to show ITRs with an annual income of ₹12 - 15 lakhs to demonstrate financial stability. This usually covers the typical living expenses requirement of about NZD 20,000/year.
Provide ITRs for the last 2 - 3 financial years to show consistent income. If a family member is sponsoring you, include their ITRs for the same period. Support your application with recent bank statements and other financial documents showing enough funds for tuition, living costs, and return travel.
Cash income, business income or no ITR?
