How many months of gap year can be considered acceptable for my application for a Master's?
It depends. Polish universities generally accept study gaps, especially if you can clearly explain how you used that time.
- Up to 1 year: Usually acceptable with minimal explanation.
- More than 1 year: You’ll need to provide a strong reason, such as work experience, skill development, or other meaningful activities.
There is no strict upper limit, but a well-justified gap that shows you are prepared for your Master's program is important. If you need help framing your gap, connect with your LeapScholar counsellor.
