The dependent visa process for New Zealand depends on your visa type and your child's age and situation.

- Dependent Child Resident Visa: For New Zealand citizens or residents. Child must be single, financially dependent, and aged 24 or younger. Cost: from NZD $3,230. Processing: typically up to 6.5 months.
- Dependent Child Student Visa: For holders of work or student visas. Child must be 19 or younger and plan to study in New Zealand. Cost: from NZD $750. Processing: typically up to 7 weeks. Granted for the same duration as your visa.
