How do IELTS exam dates work, and when are the exams held in September and October?
IELTS exams are offered in two formats:
- Computer-delivered IELTS: Available almost daily at major centers, with flexible dates and time slots.
- Paper-based IELTS: Held up to four times a month, usually on Thursdays and Saturdays.
For September and October, computer-delivered IELTS is typically available on most days, while paper-based IELTS is conducted on select dates each month.
Test date availability can vary by center and is subject to change. It’s recommended to book your slot at least 3 - 4 weeks in advance to secure your preferred date and location.
