My Advice

In my experience, students with a GPA just above a listed threshold assume every university reads it the same way, and it genuinely does not. European admissions committees like Leuven and Utrecht look at your grading scale, university, and individual course marks alongside the number itself, so do not rule out a stronger European programme just because your GPA looks modest on paper. If research or a PhD is your eventual goal, prioritise Molecular Biology or Biotechnology now, since it keeps that door open in a way Environmental Biology does not as easily.
