Agriculture programs varies by university and category rather than sitting at one fixed national cutoff, so the more useful question is which of research, policy, technical crop-science or agribusiness management you actually want your career to run through.

Three Career Directions, Three Specializations

• Management or agribusiness track: Agribusiness Management leads toward agribusiness manager, supply-chain and marketing roles in agri-startups, food companies and input companies.
• Research-and-policy track: Agricultural Economics suits economist, policy-analyst and development-sector roles, and B.Sc. Agriculture is an accepted entry qualification at institutions like NDRI.

My Advice

If you're unsure between the three tracks, default to Agribusiness Management. It keeps you closest to both research-adjacent roles and management roles, since agribusiness firms regularly hire people who can move between the technical and commercial sides of agriculture, which is harder to do coming from a narrowly technical specialization like Plant Pathology.
