A Conversion Master's Doesn't Mean Starting From Zero

• Programs explicitly marketed as conversion courses, such as Swansea's MSc Management (Business Analytics), are designed to take applicants without the conventional undergraduate background and build the missing foundations, so a commerce degree isn't a disqualifier.

My Advice

If you're torn between deepening and hybridizing, hybridize. A Business Analytics or Finance-plus-Analytics Master's rarely closes doors the way a full conversion can, and it still gives recruiters a clear story: commerce background, work experience, plus a genuine new technical skill, rather than an unexplained career pivot.
