Why RCI Recognition Matters for India

India's Rehabilitation Council of India currently lists an MA Clinical Psychology as a two-year regulated professional track, and it states that qualifications from institutions it does not recognize are not valid for employment where RCI recognition is required. My Advice

Decide your target country of practice before the specialization, since a degree titled Clinical Psychology does not automatically grant licensure to practice, especially in the US where independent practice generally needs doctoral-level training and licensure. Your strong GPA means you can target competitive clinical or counseling programs rather than settling for a safer, less relevant one.
