My Advice

In my experience, students with a strong GPA like 8.0 sometimes default to the most prestigious sounding program without checking whether the coursework actually matches their interests, wet lab versus computational. Match the specialization to what you enjoyed most in your undergraduate coursework, not just to the university's reputation, since ETH's admission process also checks specific prerequisite coursework in biology, mathematics and computer science regardless of GPA.
