Will Dubai universities accept my PTE score instead of IELTS?
→Yes, PTE is one of the most common alternatives to IELTS for studying in Dubai, and several universities look for PTE scores for MBA programmes. Minimum scores differ by programme and university, so check each university's requirement before you register for the test.
What IELTS, TOEFL or PTE score do I need for a hospital management program in Dubai?
→Hospital management programs in Dubai commonly ask for IELTS around 5.5 to 6.5 or higher, TOEFL iBT around 61 to 90 or higher (0 to 120 scale), and PTE Academic around 50 to 65 or higher. The exact minimum varies by university and program, so confirm with your university.
Which English proficiency test, IELTS or PTE, should I take for my target universities in Dubai, considering my strong academic record and high English marks?
→Take IELTS Academic if you haven't committed yet: it covers every Dubai university on your shortlist, including American University in Dubai, which lists IELTS 6.5 but not PTE, while PTE only works if you're set on University of Wollongong in Dubai, IELTS 6.0 or PTE 54, or Murdoch University Dubai.
