Do I have to prepare for the GMAT exam for applying to MIM programs?
It depends. Some Master in Management (MiM) programs require the GMAT, while others offer waivers or do not require it at all.
- Mandatory: Top programs like INSEAD and Georgetown require GMAT or GRE scores, though waivers may be available for high academic achievers.
- Not required: Some schools, such as Warwick Business School and University of Edinburgh Business School, accept MiM applicants without GMAT scores.
With your strong academic record (8.2 GPA in engineering) and 24 months of work experience, you may qualify for waivers at some institutions. However, submitting a strong GMAT score can improve your chances for competitive programs.
