Can I give the IELTS exam again if my previous score was low?
Yes, you can take the IELTS exam again if your previous score was low.
IELTS also offers a "One Skill Retake" option for computer-delivered tests, which lets you retake just one section (Listening, Reading, Writing, or Speaking) within 60 days of your original test date. This is only available if your test center supports it and your original test was computer-based. You’ll get a new score for the retaken section while your other scores stay the same.
If your original test was paper-based or over 60 days ago, you’ll need to retake the entire IELTS exam.
