Am I eligible for the Khorana Scholarship as an Indian student?
The Khorana Scholarship is for Indian citizens enrolled at a recognised Indian institution in Biotechnology or allied fields. You need a CGPA of 8.0 or 80 percent, or 65 percent for MBBS, and you must be a pre-final year student with at least a year of the course remaining.
You qualify for the Khorana Scholarship only if you are an Indian citizen enrolled in a recognised Indian institution, studying Biotechnology or an allied area, with strong grades. You also need to be in your pre-final year, so the timing of your degree matters as much as your marks.

My Advice
Check your degree completion date first, because that is the rule students most often overlook. If your grades sit close to the cut-off, use your next semester to lift them, and confirm your field is listed in the official call before you invest time in a proposal.
