After completing my exams in July 2027, how long will it take to receive my mark sheet and degree hard copy?
After your July 2027 exams, mark sheets typically arrive 1 to 3 months after results, often as a provisional copy first. Your official degree hard copy can take 2 to 8 or more months, depending on whether it is issued at convocation or mailed directly to you by request.
Once you finish your exams in July 2027, how quickly you receive your documents depends heavily on your specific university's administrative schedule and convocation cycle. You can still expect a fairly predictable general timeline for both your mark sheet and your final degree certificate. Knowing this ahead of time will help you plan around any deadlines you might have.
Typical Document Timeline
| Document | Expected Timeline |
|---|---|
| Mark Sheets / Transcripts | 1 to 3 months after results are declared, roughly August to October 2027 |
| Degree Hard Copy (Diploma) | 2 to 8 or more months after your exams conclude |
Why the Degree Certificate Can Take Longer
Many universities distribute original degree certificates during an annual convocation ceremony, which may not happen until well into late 2027 or several months later. If you cannot attend convocation, you can usually request your certificate be mailed directly, which typically takes a few weeks to a few months once your degree has been officially conferred. Some universities also offer expedited or urgent processing for an extra fee if you need your documents quickly.
My Advice
If you have a job start date or another program's application deadline coming up, ask your university about expedited processing for your mark sheet and degree certificate well before you need them, rather than waiting for the standard timeline.
