Applicants need AAB at A-levels, including A level German or an equivalent qualification such as B in a foreign language at AS or GCSE Grade 7/A in a language. Other qualifications like the IB with 35 points, Scottish Highers and Advanced Highers, BTEC DDD, or equivalent are accepted, provided language ability is demonstrated. GCSE Mathematics at grade 6/B is required. A minimum IELTS score of 6.5 with at least 5.5 in each component is needed for English language proficiency.
