Applicants typically need ABB at A level, with a preference for Art and Design or humanities subjects. Other qualifications such as a BTEC Extended Diploma with DDM, an IB score of 32 points, or five Highers including an Advanced Higher are acceptable. The course also requires a portfolio submission, and proficiency in English with an IELTS score of 6.5 overall, with at least 5.5 in each component.
