The course is structured as a three-year full-time program, with an optional placement year available between the second and third years. Successful completion of all units, which are assessed independently, leads to the awarded degree. The final degree classification is based on performance across levels 5 and 6, with assessment comprising projects, design work, and theoretical analysis. For students entering via Recognition of Prior Learning or Foundation Degree, only Level 6 marks contribute to the final classification.
