The University of Western Ontario, now known as Western University, is a public research institute established in 1878 in Ontario, Canada. It has a student enrollment of 40,000 students, of which 5,800 are international students from 128 nations. There are 12 academic faculties and schools, including Arts & Humanities, Law, Health Sciences and Engineering, offering 400 undergraduate specializations and 88 graduate degree programs.
